Proven Article Tips for Traffic

Articles are extremely powerful and should be a major player in your advertising campaing. Why?

Simply because they can bring instant traffic to your website. What I mean is just that. Minutes after submitting your article to a high profile article directory you can begin receiving traffic because of it. It's awesome!

Here's three quick ways to make that possible.

1. Style matters

Long dissertations won't sell. Even if the topic is excatly what people are looking for. If it's boring, you lose a visitor. Articles should be short, fun, full of energy, and contain great information. That's why blogs are so popular. They are fun. They are full of life. They contain something that is unique.

You don't see any NASA analylitical blog in the most read lists do you? No, but you will see blogs that can connect with people because of their style. The make reading fun.

2. Unique information is critical

One thing that I really hate seeing is seven hundred articles will all similar titles and information. Can't you think of anything else to write? If you're writing your own articles then be unique. If you're having someone else write your articles then look for someone who offers unique information of their own.

Carbon copy information is useless. It's boring. It's lifeless. Unique information, something new, something that challenges people, is fresh and exciting. People will want to read that and then will want to know what else you can offer them. Being unique isn't an excuse to be ridiculous or stupid. It's an opportunity to do something that noone else is doing yet.

Let's say you're writing another internet marketing article. And maybe it happens to be on how to write compelling articles for traffic. Don't use the same old information that's already out there. Come up with new strategies or write about old strategies in a newer way. You don't have to reinvent the wheel. Just say it differently.

3. Project authority in your tone

Here's the biggest tip you'll ever see about writing articles. Without some sort of authority in the tone of the article you're not going to receive anything from it. It'll just sit there in cyberspace doing nothing.

Authority means expertise. I'm not talking about condesending here. I'm talking about being bold enough in your statements, theories, strategies, tips... any kind of information you put in your article that will make the person reading it sit up and take notice.

People can sense whether or not you know what you're talking about. They can sense your passion. They can sense if you're trying to just get them to your site. A truly great, traffic producing article, is one that will condition the reader's mind into thinking that you are passionate about the topic and have a lot more to say about it.

In your next article, remember to write with authority. Don't be shy or timid. Be bold.
